Christmas at The Seagate

This is the second year we have had our Festive get together at The Seagate. It really is a lovely, cosy and friendly pub in a stunning location. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure everything ran smoothly. On the lead up they were attentive and made sure everything was in place as we had requested. To top it off the food was great, I mean we knew the food would be a real treat with the varied menu choices but the chef really went out of his way to ensure that everyone's dietary needs were catered for. We were a big group and the food was served on time and together, which was fantastic. It was a really special evening to celebrate the end of year and The Seagate and the staff made that happen.

New years eve Fab New Year’s Eve with live music. Great atmosphere, pukka food, loads of friendly staff / shout out to Jamie for looking after us. Thoroughly recommend

Christmas Diner with family This was a treat from our daughter and what a treat it was, we where booked in for 1.30 for Xmas lunch. We where treated like royalty we didn’t lift a finger even though the Seagate was absolutely packed impeccable service excellent food and wine 10 out of 10.

Lovely Christmas Day Dining! Going out for Xmas lunch was a first for us so we were initially a little hesitant about making a booking. However, the entire experience, from making the booking through to the actual meal, was excellent. We were after an easy, stress-free option for Xmas dinner and that was exactly what we got. Customer service was fantastic throughout: it was easy to book, pre-order and pay in advance and all staff on the day were incredibly attentive. I asked in advance for a few tweaks to my daughter’s meal and these were granted really respectfully and with zero hassle. The atmosphere on the day was perfect: just a relaxed but buzzy vibe with no stuffiness, pretentiousness or Xmas gimmicks, which would have put us off. We were served quickly and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was all lovely too. Nicely sized portions for the starters and puddings and extremely generous, delicious mains. We all agreed that the Xmas pudding was better than the ones we usually have at home. We left feeling happy, satisfied and grateful. A brilliant stress-free Xmas dinner. We will be back!

We keep coming back! We had a family Christmas Eve supper. We had a gorgeous table. The food was excellent. We had a two year old with us and the staff were so helpful xxx
