The newly refurbished 17th Century Inn, overlooking the Torridge Estuary in the quaint fishing village of Appledore, famous for its narrow cobbled streets, ship building, gig racing, and book fairs. Located on the Quay at Appledore, you can watch the sun go down from our New Terrace seating and walled garden.

Booking one of our 10 en-suite rooms couldn’t be easier, we have now integrated an online system where you can check the availability, price then reserve your room in a few simple steps!

It's almost a year since I first booked a night at the Seagate, I can honestly say all the nights I have spent away from home on business at the Seagate have been the most welcoming and enjoyable.
